More info on EYS Bo Ying Compound

Seems like some mothers are thinking of giving this to their children...

I will just write what is on the box behind...for more info, could ask the EYS sales people. (EYS = Eu Yan Sang)

Bo Ying Compound is an ancient formula for young children. Traditionally used for phlegm, vomiting, crying at night, fever , cold and cough. The natural herbs in this product are ideal for good health.

Recommended dosage:
Children 1 to 3 years old- One tube of 330g compound per day.
Children 3 to 10 years old - Two tubes of 330g compound per day.
This medicine is to be taken with lukewarm water. If symptoms persist, consult your doctor.

Precautions: Both the nursing mother and young children should avoid fishy, cold and oily food.

Contraindications: This product is not to be taken by infants suffering from G-6-P-D deficiency.

I was apprehensive of giving chinese herbal preparations to Allyson at first. Never had confidence in the quality of this products. And sometimes we can never be sure what they mix inside the preparations although what may be labelled on the box. But hubby is confident in EYS products. So since the beginning, only hubby administers this to her. He gives the chinese stuff and me the western stuff. Haha!

For the dosage stated on the box, we never follow it coz I feel this stuff is pretty strong. So, we only gave her half a bottle for one dose. And I will only give her again one week later. Not everyday.

Thanks for taking effort to post this. Now I need to look for something to cure the heat in her. She is getting the rash like 'fung mok' when she is hot. This product doesn't seem to be able to cure it. Sigh... kids...

I gave EYS to Vic when she was 2yo I think and was very sick... she became worse, with a very red and swollen wrist, my mom was worried! I was so guilty I didn't dare tell mom. Up till now, I feel bad, and don't give any chinese herbs to William either. So looks like my kids cannot take chinese herbs YET...
